Toolmaker

A toolmaker produces tools and tool elements, assembles them, puts the finished tools in operation, and carries out maintenance and repairs as well.

Technical knowledge:

reading technical drawings, drawing sketch drawings
performing, checking and documenting measurements and tests
manufacturing shaping, machining tools, components and parts of instruments
applying heat treatment to tools and instrument parts
using traditional and modern technologies, operating machine equipment
making and assembling tools and instruments from finished elements
installing tools and instruments onto controlling machines, setting and putting them into operation
performing trial production
carrying out maintenance and fixing of tools and devices
