THIRTY NEW GRADUATES FROM MERCEDES-BENZ'S EXPANDED INDUSTRIAL FOREMAN TRAINING PROGRAM

In December 2019, 30 employees of the Mercedes-Benz factory in Kecskemét received the German-Hungarian certification after completing the third year of training for industrial foremen organized by the company and the German-Hungarian Chamber of Industry and Commerce.

As a result of the partnership between the company and the Chamber, a well-functioning foreman training has been established. New feature of this year’s training was that not only the appointed foremen could participate in the training, but the factory also involved its formeman candidates (participants in the Foreman Succession Programme) who are currently preparing for foreman duties. So far, almost 70 workers have successfully completed the training in the last period.

The certificates were handed over at a ceremony on 10 December 2019 by Mária Borosné Huber, Managing Director of the German-Hungarian Knowledge Center, and Uwe Oentrich, HR Director of Mercedes-Benz Manufacturing Hungary Kft.
