There was huge interest in the Girls’ Day program organized by the Mercedes-Benz plant in Kecskemét. The girls taking part in the program could learn about four trades in an entertaining and fun way:
- Car body preparation and coating technician
- Car mechatronics technician
- Mechatronics maintenance
- Toolmaking
The Mercedes-Benz plant is determined to increase the number of female colleagues on the staff. Not only the highest standard technology but also well trained and motivated female colleagues are indispensable to the company’s success.
Mercedes-Benz Manufacturing Hungary Kft. decided to launch the dual training program five years ago, and since that time it has been collaborating with the Kálmán Kandó Kecskemét Trade Training Center and the András Gáspár Vocational Secondary School and Technical High School.
